Whats Was The Benz Tricycle Car

The first artists that I will talk in this post are the Foo Fighters. The first to be "fathomed" in interesting because as a group, such as history, but also because they have been very important in many moments of my life. Probably will accompany me to the grave.
mournful phrases aside, here is the generality of this Seattle band:
The Foo Fighters are a post-grunge group originally founded by musician Dave Grohl, former Nirvana drummer, in 1995. Their name comes from the term foo fighter, an expression used to indicate, during the Second War World of the strange aircraft sightings, defined as visions of UFOs.
Grohl, back in '92 (at the time when it was still in Nirvana), had a few projects in mind in this regard and had already composed some songs, like "Friend of a Friend," which will find space in the album "In Your Honor" and "Skin and Bones."
After the death of Cobain, Dave (producer along with his friend, Barrett Jones) change alone (except for some guitar parts) some of the songs have already created. Like the work at Capitol Records, after a short time is set in motion to release the first album by the band's name. But Grohl, certainly not wanting a group of "one-man", goes in search of possible members.

"... Grohl is committed to search for musicians able to help. Initially, the choice seemed to fall on K rist Novoselic, former partner in Nirvana, but both were concerned that, as the Foo Fighters would be a reincarnation of the pale band of Cobain. Grohl learned that a Seattle band, the Sunny Day Real Estate , were to separate. So he recruited bassist, Nate Mendel , and drummer, W illiam Goldsmith . Pat Smear, former vocalist of Nirvana after the release of The n Utero, was added as second guitarist. "[Cit. Wikipedia]

In short, he was about to be born a new phoenix from the ashes of Nirvana, Grohl will receive future a lot of criticism on this, but in my opinion are unfounded because they do not really have a base from which music. If the address is the first of these albums may be right on some issues. But from the second CD is on the Foos greatly detached from Cobain's band, taking different paths. Just listen to The Colour and the Shape . This second work, published in 1997, was a success exorbitant, so that for many remains the best album ever released by the band. Tracks like "Monkey Wrench" or "My Hero" songs that are obviously far to be quite popular and appear more diverse radio stations launched. The single "Everlong" is contained in that cd and hit the charts in his day.
forgot that the debut album of the same Grohl recruited as drummer Taylor Hawkins, who at that moment he was on tour with Alanis Morissette.
order to draft an outline of the various members in the band we have:

Subsequent albums are:
There Is Nothing Left To Lose (1999);
One by One (2001);
In Your Honor (2005);
Skin and Bones (2006);
Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace (2007).

In these works can be seen as a kind of "evolution" of the genre. The Foo Fighters have gone from a typical post-grunge garage band 90s to researchers Rock sounds more and more "mature" in short, Grohl grew up not only age but also as an awareness of music. For this reason, apart from the album Greatest Hits of 2009 I believe that the culmination of this process is represented by Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace. We never dreamed in 1997 to listen to songs like "Let It Die" and "Stranger Things Have Happened," or even "Home", simply because these guys have adapted to the needs of the time, I do not know if they knowingly or less. There those who viewed the negative change of style in a band, who believes a business found (in this case maybe it is). But when the change is good is always welcome, no?
disclosures to shorten and pull the strings, I am going to give an overall assessment based on certain criteria:
- Adaptability: 9 (10 would get if these changes were not attributable to money);
- Sound: 9.5 (A typical grunge taste from the power of a Gibson, the Foo Fighters are able to get the ' desired effect);
- Timing and live: 8 (The timing refers to the time interval between publication and the other cd I must say that lately I left a little disappointed ...) I live through that little I have examined, are discreet if not for Grohl's voice that sometimes goes to hell soon.

Based on these three criteria interim, if math is not an opinion, the final vote of the band is 8.8. Maybe I was too tight, but you know, being part tried to limit myself!
